Downgrade your Wisery subscription or reduce your seats

Remove extra cards before reducing Wisery Pro seats. Apply an immediate downgrade and keep remaining prepaid value as balance for the next payment.

Reduce the seats on an active Wisery Pro subscription from Account settings → Switch plan. The downgrade takes effect immediately. Before applying it, remove unnecessary cards so that both card formats fit the new package.

For: the person managing an active Wisery Pro subscription. Use the Wisery account associated with the subscription.

Choose the change you need

Reducing Wisery seats, changing the billing period, and stopping renewal are separate tasks.

Review a lower-seat Wisery plan

Use Switch plan to preview a lower seat count before deciding whether to apply it. The Online cards and Wallet cards allowances are separate: each format must fit the lower package before you downgrade.

  1. Open Account settings → Profile and note the current subscription, seats, and billing period.

  2. Open Business cards and read the separate Online cards and Wallet cards counters. Compare each format with the lower package’s allowance. Save any information you need, then remove unnecessary cards so each format fits the new package. Check seats and card allowances if you need help interpreting them.

  3. Open Account settings → Switch plan.

  4. Keep the intended billing period selected, then move the seat selector to the lower seat count.

  5. Review the full recurring total, any immediate charge, and the account balance or adjustment shown. The downgrade takes effect immediately. Wisery does not refund the downgrade difference; remaining prepaid value stays on your account balance for the next payment.

  6. If an amount or allowance is unclear or inconsistent, select Cancel to leave the subscription unchanged and ask support to clarify it.

Illustrated four-step Wisery downgrade review: check the current plan, remove extra Online cards and Wallet cards separately to fit the lower package, preview fewer seats, and review the immediate downgrade and carried balance before applying it.

Illustrative review checklist, not a screenshot or price quote. Remove extra cards before downgrading. The final Switch plan button applies the immediate change; changing a selector only previews it.

Apply and verify the lower-seat plan

Apply the Wisery seat reduction only after the displayed terms and card allowance meet your needs.

  1. Select the final Switch plan button and complete any additional confirmation shown for the subscription.

  2. Keep the plan-change confirmation.

  3. Reopen Account settings → Profile and verify that the lower seat count is active. Check the billing period, renewal information, and carried account balance.

  4. Return to Business cards and check each card-format allowance. If the confirmed result differs from the selected plan, contact Wisery support with the account email and confirmation before placing another order.

When does a downgrade take effect, and what happens to prepaid value?

A Wisery downgrade takes effect immediately. Wisery does not refund the price difference for a downgrade. Remaining prepaid value stays as an account balance and is applied to the next payment. Review the displayed balance and billing summary before applying the change; contact Wisery support if they do not match the selected plan.

Why is Switch plan disabled or showing an unexpected preview?

Wisery’s Switch plan button can be disabled when the selected seats and billing period match the current subscription. Select the change you intend and check that the summary matches it. If the amounts, period, or allowance still disagree, select Cancel and contact Wisery support.

Will switching billing periods move me to Free?

Selecting Monthly or Yearly changes the billing period of a Wisery Pro plan; it does not select Free. To stop Pro renewal while keeping the account, follow the subscription-cancellation guide.
