Understand seats, card allowances, and adding more cards

Read separate online-card and Wallet-card limits, use a five-seat worked example, and review extra capacity before changing your plan.

Check how many Wisery cards you can create, understand how Pro seats relate to card allowances, and review additional capacity before changing your subscription.

Applies to: Wisery account owners managing online cards and Wallet cards on Free or Pro. You need access to the account dashboard and subscription settings. Paid feature access and card capacity are separate checks.

What is a Wisery seat?

A seat is the billing unit selected for a Wisery Pro subscription. Your account’s card counters show the capacity available for each format: online cards are web profiles, and Wallet cards are the separate format used in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.

A seat count does not tell you how many separate account logins, colleague permissions, or card assignments are available. Use the card allowances displayed in your account when planning cards for colleagues.

Check the online-card and Wallet-card allowances

  1. In Wisery, open Business cards.

  2. Read the counter beside Online cards.

  3. Read the separate counter beside Wallet cards.

  4. Compare the number already used with the allowance for the format you need.

Each counter shows cards used out of the allowance for that format. Check both counters before creating or duplicating a card.

The example below shows a verified five-seat Pro account with separate allowances of five online cards and five Wallet cards:

  • Online cards: 3 of 5. Three online cards are used, and two online-card slots remain.

  • Wallet cards: 1 of 5. One Wallet card is used, and four Wallet-card slots remain.

The allowances are separate. Five online-card slots and five Wallet-card slots do not provide ten online-card slots. The two remaining online slots and four remaining Wallet slots in this example cannot be combined into six online slots.

Example dashboard counters: three online cards and one Wallet card are in use, with a separate allowance of five for each format.

A five-seat Pro example has two separate card-format allowances. Check each format’s own counter in your account.

For another seat count, read the allowances in your own dashboard. If the capacity you need is unclear, ask Wisery support to confirm it before purchasing more seats.

Create another card when a slot is available

  1. Open Business cards and select the format you want.

  2. Choose New online card or New wallet card.

  3. Complete the card details and review its design before saving.

  4. Return to Business cards and check the counter for that format.

A newly created card uses a slot in its format. Duplicating an online card also uses an online-card slot. When an allowance is full, edit an existing card or review additional capacity instead of repeatedly trying to create another card.

Review additional Pro seats

  1. Open the account menu and go to Account settings → Profile.

  2. Find Subscription, then open Switch plan or the Upgrade chooser.

  3. Review the selected seat count, billing period, and displayed total. Check that the proposed capacity fits the online cards and Wallet cards you need.

  4. If the chooser does not explain the seat option or its effect on your subscription, ask Wisery support before confirming a paid change.

Opening the plan chooser does not purchase a plan. The account owner should confirm a purchase only after reviewing the displayed terms. After a plan change is completed, return to Business cards and check both card allowances. If they do not match the intended capacity, refresh the account page and contact support.

Why am I asked to upgrade when slots remain?

An available Wisery card slot does not include every Pro feature. For example, installing a card in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet requires Pro. A feature restriction and a full card allowance are different reasons for an upgrade prompt.
