Set up individual Wisery business cards for colleagues from one account. Prepare each person’s profile, use your company’s agreed design, and check the finished card before sending that colleague the installation-page URL with instructions to use and add the card.
Applies to: the person managing colleagues’ cards in the Wisery account that contains those cards. You need available capacity for each card format you create. Apple Wallet and Google Wallet installation, specialized online-card blocks, and advanced design options require Pro.
Prepare each colleague’s details and card format
Before creating a colleague’s Wisery card, collect the business information that person wants to share:
Name, job title, and company.
Business phone number and email address.
Profile photo or company logo.
Approved website, booking, and social-profile links.
An online card is a web page with profile information and links. A Wallet card is a separate pass for Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. Decide which format each colleague needs before creating cards.
Check the card allowance in the Wisery account
In Wisery, open Business cards.
Read the counters beside Online cards and Wallet cards.
Compare the available space for each format with the cards you plan to create.
Each counter shows cards used out of the allowance for that format. Online-card space and Wallet-card space are separate; use the displayed counters rather than treating the two allowances as interchangeable. If an allowance is full, edit an existing card or review the account’s seat and card options before creating another.
If a colleague needs both an online card and a connected Wallet pass, start with the Wallet setup below and create the online profile through that Wallet card’s setup flow. Use the online-card steps below when the colleague needs a standalone web profile.
Example: manage each colleague’s source cards in one account and distribute their own links. Saving an existing source Wallet card updates its installed passes automatically.
Create a colleague’s online card
In Business cards, select Online cards, then New online card.
Open Profile. Enter the colleague’s name in Title, add their role or introduction in Bio, and use the approved profile image.
Open Blocks. Add that colleague’s contact details and links using features included in the account’s plan.
Use Design and Themes to apply the agreed company appearance. If you already have an approved company card, open that card’s three-dot menu and select Duplicate, then customize the copy’s profile and blocks instead of rebuilding its design.
Review the preview. Confirm the name, role, phone number, email address, and every destination link belong to the intended colleague.
When the information is ready to be available online, use the displayed save control, such as Save and publish or Save my online card.
Open Business cards → Online cards, select Share on the colleague’s card, then open the profile URL in the installation page’s Share online card field to check the saved public profile.
The colleague’s online card should show that person’s approved details and working links. A saved online card can be accessible at its web address, so finish the content review before saving.
Enter the colleague’s own name and role while keeping the agreed company appearance. This is an unsaved sample preview.
Add a Wallet card when the colleague needs one
Duplicating a Wisery online card creates a separate online card. It does not create another Wallet card. Prepare and check the colleague’s Wallet card separately if that format is needed.
To give a colleague a Wisery Wallet pass, follow Create and customize a Wallet business card. Use the colleague’s own name, company, position, and contact details in that Wallet card.
If the Wallet pass should open an online profile, follow Connect your Wallet card to your online card. The Wallet editor’s Preview linked online card control shows the connected profile. Check the profile it displays rather than assuming that cards with matching names are connected.
For a new Wallet card with no connected profile, Save progress and create online card continues the online-card setup from the Wallet editor. If you need a different existing profile and the editor does not offer that connection, ask Wisery support to check the intended pairing before distributing the pass.
Send the installation page to the colleague
To give a colleague instructions for using and adding their card, share the Wisery installation page opened from that person’s card.
In Wisery, open Business cards and find the intended colleague’s card.
Click Share on that card. Wisery opens its Installation page.
Check the colleague’s name and card preview.
Copy the complete URL from the browser address bar.
Send that URL to the colleague. They can open the page and follow the instructions to use and add their card.
Send the installation-page URL for handing over the card to its colleague. The URL in the Share online card field opens the public profile and is intended for sharing the card with customers and other contacts. Keep the Wisery dashboard, editor links, and account password with the person managing the cards.
Select Share on the intended colleague’s card. Check the name before opening its installation page.
Copy the installation page’s URL from the browser address bar. The card URL inside Share online card is a separate link for people viewing the profile. Use your own colleague’s page, rather than the sample address.
How do I update a colleague’s installed Wallet card?
Open the colleague’s existing card in Business cards → Wallet cards, edit its details or design, and select Save wallet card. Saving the Wallet card updates the passes already installed in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet automatically. The colleague does not need to remove or reinstall the pass. Ask the colleague to connect their phone to the internet, open the installed pass, and check the field you changed.
A contact already saved in someone’s phone address book is separate from an installed Wallet pass. The recipient must save the current contact details again to update that phone contact.
