Give each colleague the Wisery installation page for their card: click Share on that colleague’s card, copy the complete page URL from the browser address bar, and send it to them. The page includes instructions to use and add the card.
Applies to: the person managing colleagues’ cards in one Wisery account. Online-card sharing is available on Free and Pro within the account’s card allowance. Free supports Wallet cards with the default design. Installing a Wallet pass requires Pro on the Wisery account that manages the card. A Wallet pass is the card stored in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. Colleagues do not need your Wisery account password to open their visitor-facing card or install their pass.
Check the colleague’s source cards before distribution
In Wisery, check the source cards for the colleague who will receive them.
Open Business cards → Online cards and find the colleague’s online card. Review its name, role, links, and contact details.
If the colleague needs a Wallet pass, open Business cards → Wallet cards and check the Wallet card’s name and company.
If the Wallet QR uses Redirect to online card, select Preview linked online card when available. Confirm that the connected profile belongs to the same colleague.
Matching names do not establish a connection between two cards. If a new Wallet card has no online profile, use its Save progress and create online card flow. If you need a different existing profile and the required connection is unavailable, ask Wisery support to check it before distributing the pass.
Send the installation page to the colleague
To give a colleague instructions for using and adding their card, share the Wisery installation page opened from that person’s card.
In Wisery, open Business cards and find the intended colleague’s card.
Click Share on that card. Wisery opens its Installation page.
Check the colleague’s name and card preview.
Copy the complete URL from the browser address bar.
Send that URL to the colleague. They can open the page and follow the instructions to use and add their card.
Send the installation-page URL for handing over the card to its colleague. The URL in the Share online card field opens the public profile and is intended for sharing the card with customers and other contacts. Keep the Wisery dashboard, editor links, and account password with the person managing the cards.
Select Share on the intended colleague’s card. Check the name before opening its installation page.
Copy the installation page’s URL from the browser address bar. The card URL inside Share online card is a separate link for people viewing the profile. Use your own colleague’s page, rather than the sample address.
Use the online card from the installation page
On the colleague’s installation page, the Share online card section contains the visitor-facing profile URL, social sharing controls, and the online-card quick response (QR) code. The colleague can copy that profile URL for customers, email signatures, messages, or social profiles. Opening the profile link does not install a Wallet pass.
Add the colleague’s card to Apple Wallet
When the colleague needs a Wallet pass, give them the installation-page URL for their saved Wallet card. The manager can open that page from Business cards → Wallet cards → Add to wallet and copy its complete browser address. The colleague opens the supplied page on their iPhone and follows the Add to Apple Wallet instructions under For iOS.
Open the supplied Wallet installation-page URL on the iPhone and check the card’s name.
Select the Apple option if the page offers a platform choice, then tap Add to Apple Wallet.
Review the pass, follow the iPhone’s prompts, and tap Add when asked.
Open the Wallet app and check the installed pass’s name and QR code.
If the page is open on a computer, the colleague can scan the Apple installation QR with the iPhone instead. Sending the page URL lets a remote colleague open the instructions directly on their phone.
The Apple installation panel adds the pass. The separate online-card QR opens the web profile.
Add the colleague’s card to Google Wallet
Give the Android colleague their Wallet installation-page URL. The manager can open the colleague’s saved Wallet card through Business cards → Wallet cards → Add to wallet and copy the full URL from the browser address bar.
Open the supplied installation-page URL on the Android phone and check the card’s name.
Select the Android option if needed. Check Add to Google Wallet and For Android.
Use the Google Account where the colleague wants the pass stored, then tap Add to Google Wallet.
Follow Google’s prompts, open Google Wallet, and check the pass’s name and QR code.
If the installation page is open on a computer, scan the Google installation QR with the Android phone instead.
Use the Google installation panel and the intended Google Account.
Update cards already installed by colleagues
Saving a colleague’s existing source Wallet card in Wisery automatically updates that card on devices where the pass is already installed. Removal or reinstallation is not required.
Open the colleague’s existing Wallet card in Business cards → Wallet cards.
Edit the details or design and select Save wallet card.
Ask the colleague to keep their phone online, open the installed pass, and check the changed field.
If old details remain, confirm the installed pass matches the source card you edited. On iPhone, check Automatic Updates in pass details if that option is available. On Android, check the Google Account. Contact Wisery through the in-app Messenger if the saved source and installed pass still differ. Previously saved phone address-book contacts are separate and must be saved again to receive changed details.
What if distribution does not work?
If the colleague sees only the public profile, return to the intended card, click Share, and copy the installation-page URL from the browser address bar rather than the profile link inside the page. If the installation page has no Wallet controls, open the intended Wallet card’s installation page and share that page’s browser URL. Copy the actual page address; do not build it by changing an online-card URL.
Wrong person: return to that colleague’s source card and click Share, and copy that installation page’s complete browser URL.
Google pass missing: check the account selected in Google Wallet.
