Add your card to Google Wallet

Install your Wisery Wallet business card on Android using the correct Google Account and verify the sharing QR.

Add your Wisery Wallet business card to Google Wallet so you can show its QR code from your Android phone. Start with Wisery’s Google Wallet installation panel and finish the add flow with the Google Account you want to use.

Applies to: people with a compatible Android phone and a saved Wallet card in a Wisery account with Pro Wallet access. Prepare the card yourself or receive its installation-page URL from your card manager. Google Wallet requires Android 9 or later, a valid Google Account, and current Google Wallet and Google Play Services. Use a personal profile; Google Wallet does not support work profiles.

If a colleague prepared your Wisery card

Open the installation-page URL sent by the person who manages your card. They obtain this page by clicking Share on your card and copying the full address from the browser address bar. For a Wallet card, the manager can open its installation page from Business cards → Wallet cards → Add to wallet and copy that page’s address.

  1. Open the supplied installation page on your Android phone and check that the card belongs to you.

  2. Follow the page’s Add to Google Wallet instructions under For Android. Use the Google Account where you want the pass saved, then follow Google’s prompts.

  3. Open Google Wallet and check the installed card’s name and QR code.

You do not need the card manager’s Wisery password to use the installation page. If the link opens only the public online profile, ask the manager for the installation-page URL from the browser address bar. If the page has no Wallet controls, ask for your Wallet card’s installation page. The public profile link and online-card QR do not install a Wallet pass.

Open Google Wallet installation in Wisery

  1. Sign in to Wisery and open Business cards → Wallet cards.

  2. Find your saved Wallet card and select Add to wallet.

  3. On Share & Save, select the Android icon.

  4. Check that the heading is Add to Google Wallet and the instructions say For Android.

The Google installation panel shows an installation QR code and an Add to Google Wallet button. These controls add a pass; the separate online-card QR farther down the page opens your web profile.

Use the Android installation panel in your own Wisery account, then finish the add flow on the phone with the intended Google Account.

Finish adding the pass on Android

  1. Check that you are signed in to the Google Account where you want the pass saved.

  2. If Wisery is open on a computer, scan the installation QR code with your Android phone and open the link. If the installation page is already open on the phone, tap Add to Google Wallet.

  3. Follow Google’s onscreen instructions to add the pass. If prompted, install or update Google Wallet first.

  4. Choose View in Wallet when offered, or open the Google Wallet app and select your Wisery pass.

The Wisery pass should appear in Google Wallet for the selected account. Check its name and QR code before using it with other people.

Share your card from Google Wallet

  1. Open Google Wallet on your Android phone.

  2. Select your Wisery pass.

  3. Show its QR code so the other person can scan it.

The QR inside the saved pass follows the Wisery action you configured: open the connected online card or start contact saving. Installing a pass and saving a contact in a phone address book are separate actions.

Why can’t I find the pass after adding it?

If the Wisery pass is missing from Google Wallet, check that the app uses the same Google Account you selected during installation. Open the installation link again and review the account before adding another copy.

What if Google Wallet installation fails?

  • If Wisery asks you to upgrade, check your Pro access before retrying.

  • Check Google Wallet’s Android, account, and app requirements. Keep Google Play Services and Google Wallet up to date.

  • Use the phone’s personal profile rather than a work profile.

  • If a link opened inside another app does not complete the flow, open it in the phone’s browser.

  • If the error continues, contact Wisery through the in-app Messenger with the error message and phone model.

Do I need NFC to share my Wisery Wallet QR?

Sharing a Wisery QR code means showing the code on your screen for another phone to scan. It does not use near-field communication (NFC) tapping. Google’s contactless-payment requirements apply to payment features, rather than this QR-sharing step.

Will the online destination open without internet?

A pass already saved in Google Wallet can be shown on the phone, but opening an online card, external link, or contact collection form requires connectivity. Install and test the pass before an event.
