Copy your Wisery online-card link and share it so people can open your profile, view your information, and follow your links.
Applies to: Free and Pro online cards. You need a saved online card that is available to visitors. Recipients open the card in a browser with an internet connection; they do not need a Wisery account or app.
Copy the link to your Wisery online card
In Wisery, select Business cards, then Online cards.
Find the card you want to share and select Share.
On the Share & Save page, find Share online card.
Select the copy icon beside the card URL. If copying does not work, select the complete URL in the field and copy it manually.
The address you need is the visitor-facing online-card URL. The Wisery dashboard and editor addresses are for managing your card and should not be sent as your card link. To hand a card and its instructions to a colleague, use the installation-page browser URL described below.
Copy the visitor-facing link from Share online card. The email and social options are separate sharing controls.
Check the card before sharing the link
Paste the copied Wisery online-card URL into a separate browser tab or a browser where you are not signed in.
Check that the intended name, introduction, and links appear.
Open the card’s buttons and check that they lead to the correct destinations.
If the card is unavailable, return to Wisery and check its save or publication prompts. Review the card’s content before using a control that saves or publishes changes.
A successful visitor check shows the card itself, rather than the Wisery editor or a sign-in screen.
Send the Wisery online-card link
Paste the complete URL into the message, email, profile, or meeting chat where you want to share it.
Add a short reason to open it, such as “Here is my profile and portfolio.”
Check the address before sending or posting it.
Recipients can open the link when they have internet access. Wisery also shows social sharing controls on the Share & Save page; the selected social service controls its posting flow.
Send the installation page to the colleague
To give a colleague instructions for using and adding their card, share the Wisery installation page opened from that person’s card.
In Wisery, open Business cards and find the intended colleague’s card.
Click Share on that card. Wisery opens its Installation page.
Check the colleague’s name and card preview.
Copy the complete URL from the browser address bar.
Send that URL to the colleague. They can open the page and follow the instructions to use and add their card.
Send the installation-page URL for handing over the card to its colleague. The URL in the Share online card field opens the public profile and is intended for sharing the card with customers and other contacts. Keep the Wisery dashboard, editor links, and account password with the person managing the cards.
Select Share on the intended colleague’s card. Check the name before opening its installation page.
Copy the installation page’s URL from the browser address bar. The card URL inside Share online card is a separate link for people viewing the profile. Use your own colleague’s page, rather than the sample address.
What does opening a Wisery card do?
Opening a Wisery online-card link displays the profile. Saving the owner’s contact details requires a separate contact-saving action on the card; that owner block requires Pro. Sharing a visitor’s details back requires the visitor to submit a Pro contact collection form. Opening the link alone does not perform either contact action.
Why does my shared link not work?
The editor or sign-in page opens: copy the visitor-facing URL from Share online card.
The wrong person’s card opens: return to Online cards and choose the intended card before copying its link.
The page does not load: check the recipient’s internet connection and test the complete URL again. Check the card’s availability in Wisery if the connection works.
An old link stopped working: check whether the card URL or custom domain changed, then replace the address wherever you shared it.
