Add your Wisery Wallet business card to Apple Wallet so you can open its QR code on your iPhone when you meet someone. Use the installation controls in Wisery, then finish adding the pass on the iPhone.
Applies to: people with an iPhone that supports Apple Wallet and a saved Wallet card in a Wisery account with Pro Wallet access. Prepare the card yourself or receive its installation-page URL from your card manager. A Wallet pass is the card stored in the Wallet app; it is separate from your online profile and your phone’s address book.
If a colleague prepared your Wisery card
Open the installation-page URL sent by the person who manages your card. They obtain this page by clicking Share on your card and copying the full address from the browser address bar. For a Wallet card, the manager can open its installation page from Business cards → Wallet cards → Add to wallet and copy that page’s address.
Open the supplied installation page on your iPhone and check that the card belongs to you.
Follow the page’s Add to Apple Wallet instructions under For iOS. Review the pass and tap Add when the iPhone asks.
Open Apple Wallet and check the installed card’s name and QR code.
You do not need the card manager’s Wisery password to use the installation page. If the link opens only the public online profile, ask the manager for the installation-page URL from the browser address bar. If the page has no Wallet controls, ask for your Wallet card’s installation page. The public profile link and online-card QR do not install a Wallet pass.
Open Apple Wallet installation in Wisery
Sign in to Wisery and open Business cards → Wallet cards.
Find the Wallet card you want to install and select Add to wallet.
On Share & Save, select the Apple icon.
Check that the heading is Add to Apple Wallet and the instructions say For iOS.
The Apple installation panel contains an installation QR code and an Add to Apple Wallet button. Use this panel, rather than the separate online-card sharing QR farther down the page.
Use the Apple installation panel in your own Wisery account. This browser screen starts installation; it does not show a completed iPhone installation.
Finish adding the Wallet Card on your iPhone
If Wisery is open on a computer, scan the installation QR code with your iPhone’s camera and open the link. If the installation page is already open on the iPhone, tap Add to Apple Wallet.
Follow the iPhone’s onscreen instructions and review the pass details.
Tap Add if Apple Wallet asks you to confirm.
Open the Wallet app and select your Wisery pass.
Your Wisery wallet card should now appear in Apple Wallet. Check the name, company, and QR code on the installed pass before relying on it at an event.
Share your card from Apple Wallet
Open Wallet on your iPhone and select the Wisery card.
Show the QR code on the card to the person you are meeting.
Ask the other person to scan that QR code with their phone.
The QR inside the installed pass follows your saved Wisery QR action: opening the connected online card or starting contact saving. The installation QR in Wisery is used to add the pass to a phone; it is a different action.
Why does the QR open my online profile instead of adding a pass?
If scanning a code opens your Wisery profile, check which code you scanned. To install the pass, return to Share & Save → Apple icon → Add to Apple Wallet and use the QR under For iOS. The online-card sharing QR opens the web profile.
What if the pass will not add to Apple Wallet?
If Wisery shows a Pro gate, check your plan access. A saved Wallet-card record does not by itself include installation access.
Open the installation link on the iPhone. If an in-app browser does not offer the Wallet flow, try opening the link in Safari.
Confirm that the saved card and the installation page show the card you intend to install.
If the problem continues, contact Wisery through the in-app Messenger and describe the phone model and error message.
For Apple’s device instructions, see add and use passes in Apple Wallet.
Can I show the Wallet QR without an internet connection?
You can open a pass already stored in Apple Wallet to show its QR code. Opening the linked online card, external pages, or a contact collection form still requires an internet connection. Install and test the pass before you need it.
