Connect your Wisery Wallet card to an online card so the QR code on the pass opens your professional profile. Your online card can contain links and other content; the Wallet pass keeps its QR code ready to show on your phone.
Applies to: Wisery card owners using a Wallet card with Redirect to online card. Installing a pass in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet requires Wisery Pro.
Check an existing Wallet connection
In Wisery, open Business cards, select Wallet cards, and open the Wallet card you want to check.
Find the QR code section and select Redirect to online card.
If the Wallet card already has a connected online card, select Preview linked online card.
Review the displayed name, bio, and buttons to confirm that the preview is the profile you intend visitors to open.
The connection preview identifies the online card automatically connected to that Wallet card. Confirm the actual profile shown rather than assuming that cards with similar names are connected.
Preview linked online card shows the online profile connected to this Wallet card. Check the displayed profile before sharing the QR code.
Create the online profile from a new Wallet card
Open Business cards → Wallet cards → New wallet card and enter the required Company and Name fields.
Under QR code, select Redirect to online card.
If no online profile is connected yet, select Save progress and create online card.
Complete the online card setup and review its content before using its save or publication controls.
Return to the Wallet editor and use Preview linked online card to check the connection when that control is available.
This flow creates the online card through the Wallet setup. If you need to connect a different existing profile and the editor does not offer the connection you need, ask Wisery support to check it before distributing the QR code.
Save the QR choice and test the destination
Keep Redirect to online card selected in the Wallet editor.
Select Save wallet card after reviewing the settings. Wisery states that the QR code changes when the Wallet card is saved.
Open the connected online card’s link in a visitor browser and confirm that its page is available.
Scan the QR on the actual Wallet pass or final downloaded image. Confirm that it opens the intended online profile.
Why does the QR code offer to save contact details instead?
A Wisery Wallet card set to Add to Contacts uses a different visitor journey from Redirect to online card. Open the Wallet editor, check the selected QR option, save the intended choice, and scan the final card again.
Does connecting cards collect a visitor’s details?
Connecting a Wallet card to an online card does not submit a visitor’s details. Contact collection requires the relevant online-card form and a visitor’s voluntary submission. Visitors also need an internet connection to open the online card and use its form or linked pages.
