Add your card to an email signature, social profile, or meeting chat

Add a Wisery card link or QR image to an email signature, and share your card through a social profile or meeting chat.

Add your Wisery online card link to your email signature, social profile, or meeting chat so people can open your profile. You can also add a scannable QR image to a supported email signature.

Applies to: Free and Pro online cards. You need an existing online card and access to the email, social, or meeting service where you want to place its link. Visitors need an internet connection to open your online card.

Use the same Wisery online-card link in an email signature, social profile, or meeting chat. These are illustrative examples.

Copy the link to your Wisery online card

  1. In Wisery, open Business cards and select Online cards.

  2. Select Share on the online card you want people to see.

  3. Find Share online card on the Share & Save page and copy the card link.

  4. Open the copied link in a browser and check that the intended profile loads.

Use the visitor-facing online card link, rather than the address of your Wisery editor or dashboard.

Add your Wisery online card to an email signature

  1. Open the signature settings in your email service.

  2. Add a short label, such as View my business card.

  3. If the signature editor supports hyperlinks, select the label, choose its link control, and paste your Wisery online card URL. For a plain-text signature, paste the complete URL instead.

  4. Save the signature and send a test email to an account you can check.

  5. Open the test email and follow the link. Check that the correct online card opens and that its buttons lead to the intended pages.

The email signature now gives recipients a route to your online card. Email services can hide images, so keep a clickable text link even if you also include an image or QR code.

Add a QR code to your email signature

You can add your Wisery online-card QR (Quick Response) code as an image in an email signature if your email service supports signature images. Keep a text link to the same Wisery card so recipients can open it on the phone they are using to read the email.

  1. In Wisery, open Business cards → Online cards, select Share on the intended card, and find Share online card using QR code on the Share & Save page.

  2. Select Download PNG and check that the saved image contains your online-card QR. Use this sharing QR, rather than a Wallet installation QR. See Download, test, and print your card’s QR code for the full download and testing steps.

  3. Open your email service’s signature settings and use its image control to insert the downloaded QR image. Resize it without stretching, cropping, or removing the clear border around the code.

  4. Add a label such as Scan to view my card. Keep a separate clickable text link, such as View my business card, pointing to the same online-card URL. If your signature editor supports image links, you can link the QR image to that URL too.

  5. Save the signature and send a test email to an account you can check. Open the received email, test the text link, and scan the displayed QR with another phone. Check that both open the intended Wisery online card.

The received signature should display a scannable QR and a working text link. If your email service hides or removes the image, recipients can use the text link. If the QR does not scan, enlarge it, restore its clear border, and send another test. For Gmail-specific setup, see Google’s signature instructions.

Add your Wisery online card to a social profile

  1. Open the social service’s profile editor.

  2. Paste your Wisery online card URL into its website or link field, if it provides one. Otherwise, use a bio field if that service accepts links there.

  3. Add a short description of what people will find, such as your work, services, or contact options.

  4. Save the profile and view it as a visitor. Follow the link to check the destination.

The social service controls whether a bio URL is clickable. Use its dedicated link field when available.

Share your Wisery online card in a meeting chat

  1. Copy your online card link before the meeting.

  2. Paste the complete URL into the meeting chat with a short introduction, such as “Here is my profile and the resources we discussed.”

  3. Check that the posted URL is complete and points to the intended card.

Meeting participants can open the card while connected to the internet. Chat access and retention depend on the meeting service, so give people time to save the link.

Use a QR code in a meeting background

You can also place your Wisery online-card QR in a meeting background so participants can scan your video. For design, upload, and participant-view testing steps, see Create a meeting background with your card’s QR code. Keep a clickable card link in chat as another way to open your card.

Why does the link not open correctly?

  • The editor opens: replace the address with the visitor-facing URL copied from Share online card.

  • The destination is wrong: check that you selected the intended online card before copying its link.

  • The URL is not clickable: use the service’s hyperlink or website field, or paste the full URL with its https:// prefix.

  • The card URL changed: replace the old link in every signature and profile where you used it, then test again.
