Choose whether your Wallet QR opens your profile or saves contact details

Select the visitor journey for your Wallet QR code, save the setting, and test the finished card.

Choose a QR action for your Wisery Wallet business card: open your connected online profile or start saving your contact details to a recipient’s phone. Set the action in the Wallet editor, then test the QR code on the card you will actually share.

Applies to: Wisery Wallet card owners. Wallet installation and options marked with a Pro diamond require Wisery Pro. These settings control the QR inside your business card, not the installation QR used to add a pass to a phone.

Use Redirect to online card for your full profile

Redirect to online card opens the Wisery online card connected to the Wallet card. Choose this action when visitors should see your bio, website buttons, social links, or other online-card content.

A connected online card can also offer contact saving or contact collection when those features are configured and included in the plan. A QR scan opens the page; it does not automatically submit a visitor’s details.

Use Add to Contacts for contact saving

Add to Contacts starts the journey for saving the card owner’s contact information. The recipient must review and complete the contact-saving prompts their phone provides.

Choosing Add to Contacts is separate from adding a pass to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. It also does not update contacts that recipients have already saved in their phone address book.

Change the Wallet QR action

  1. In Wisery, open Business cards → Wallet cards.

  2. Select the Wallet card’s preview to open its editor.

  3. Find the QR code section.

  4. Select Redirect to online card or Add to Contacts.

  5. For the redirect option, use Preview linked online card to check an existing connection. If the new Wallet card is not connected, use the displayed Save progress and create online card flow.

  6. Review the card, then select Save wallet card.

Wallet QR code is updated when the card is saved. Test the saved output before assuming an already-installed pass or previously downloaded image reflects the change.

Choose the visitor journey under QR code. Save the Wallet card before checking the final QR output.

Check the visitor’s actual experience

  1. Open the Wallet pass on the phone, or open the final card image you plan to use.

  2. Use another phone to scan the QR code.

  3. For Redirect to online card, confirm that the correct online profile opens and its buttons work.

  4. For Add to Contacts, confirm that the intended details appear in the phone’s contact-saving flow. Finish the save only if you want to keep that contact.

Test with an internet connection. Showing a saved Wallet QR code without connectivity does not establish that its destination or the recipient’s save flow works offline.

Why does an old card still do something different?

An older installed pass or downloaded image may not contain the current saved output. Check the QR option in Wisery, confirm the card was saved, and then inspect the pass on the phone or obtain a fresh image. Follow the Wallet update guide if the installed pass still shows older information.
